A kitchen display system that keeps the floor in the loop.

Tickets reach the right station the moment they are sent. When the kitchen starts a course, finishes a plate or hands it to expo, the server who owns the table is told, so the floor and the line stay in step without anyone walking back to ask.

Stations, held items and the expo handoff

Each station sees what is waiting, what is being prepared and what is held for a later course. Expo sees every plate for a table come together before it runs, and once its food is delivered, the table updates on the floor plan by itself.

  • Waiting, preparing and held items by station
  • Expo view of each table’s plates
  • Bar orders on their own station screen

Three moments the server hears about

When the kitchen starts the entrées, the server can clear the first course and refill drinks. When food is ready, the server who owns the table is told. When expo sends it, the server knows it is on the way and the table status changes. The guest hears where their food is instead of “let me go check.”

  • Sent to the one server who owns the table
  • Timing comes from the kitchen’s own screens
  • Works on a phone and a paired smartwatch
Smartwatch notification from Kitchen Expo: table 15 is ready to run.

English and Spanish, one conversation

A server can message the kitchen in English and the line reads it in Spanish; replies come back in English. The original words stay visible beside the translation, so nothing is lost between front and back of house.

  • Translated messages between floor and kitchen
  • Original wording always available
  • Messages tied to the table they are about

Does the kitchen display work for the bar too?

Yes. Bar orders go to their own station, and bartenders see waiting and ready drinks the same way the kitchen sees plates.

Can servers get kitchen alerts on a smartwatch?

Yes. Alerts arrive as phone notifications, which a paired smartwatch shows on the wrist, so a server does not have to take a phone out in the dining room.

Which languages are supported?

English and Spanish. Messages between front and back of house are shown in both, with the original wording beside each translation; free-text translation needs a connected translation service.
